I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and pursued my education in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University, where I earned my BS degree. My journey led me to acquire a clinical doctorate (AuD) from Washington University in St. Louis, where I developed a deep passion for managing tinnitus and focusing on patient care.

In audiology, I enjoy the investigative process of diagnosing each patient's unique hearing, tinnitus, or sound tolerance issues. Once the "what and why" of their experiences are understood, my patients and I collaborate on strategies and treatments to alleviate their symptoms and enhance their hearing health.

What drew me to Sound Relief is the principle that everyone deserves a personalized approach to care. Our team dedicates ample time to understand and cater to the specific needs of each patient, offering personalized recommendations and support throughout their treatment journey. Observing the improvements in patients' lives over the years is truly rewarding.

In my day-to-day role, I love meeting new faces, diagnosing hearing disorders, and explaining results clearly to patients. I handle routine maintenance of hearing devices and regularly check in on tinnitus patients, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.

The wide scope of audiology keeps my work exciting and fulfilling. Lifelong learning is a key component of our practice, and applying new knowledge daily enriches my job. The evolving understanding of how our brains process auditory information continuously opens new treatment avenues, and I am eager to see future developments that will allow us to offer even better care.

Outside the office, I'm a puzzle enthusiast, enjoying jigsaw, word, and number puzzles. I also cherish hiking and long walks with my husband and our dogs.
