Dr. Sarah Pitrone
I grew up in Parker, CO, and pursued my bachelor's and doctorate degrees at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.
Since I was young, I have been fascinated by science and biology, which naturally led me to a career in healthcare. Initially, I explored various healthcare paths as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) before discovering my true calling in audiology. The field captivated me because of its potential to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, and after taking a few courses I was hooked.
My primary focus here is direct patient care. I manage a range of appointments—from new evaluations to follow-ups with long-term patients—with the goal of maximizing the benefits of each individual's treatment plan. This involves customizing device programming, reassessing hearing conditions, and working closely with patients to overcome the daily challenges of living with hearing loss and tinnitus.
I find great joy in engaging in creative problem-solving alongside my patients. Hearing treatment is highly personalized, and I treasure the moments when patients bring specific challenges to me. We work together to devise solutions, blending my expertise with their unique lifestyles and preferences, to improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, I love to travel with my husband and daughter. It is incredibly fulfilling to watch my daughter explore new places and experience new things. Her excitement during these adventures is truly the highlight of my travels.
