Mary Azo
I am a first-generation American, born and raised in Chicago where I attended Kennedy-King College. Before joining the audiology field, I spent over a decade as a back-office dental assistant and later transitioned to the front office as a Patient Care Coordinator for about three years. That role allowed me to connect with patients on a more personal level and build lasting relationships, which has always been the most rewarding part of my work.
My journey in hearing care began after I moved to Arizona and discovered a job opening at Sound Relief. On a whim, I decided to apply and was thrilled to be offered the position. I have been part of the team since 2022, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help patients and witness the positive impact that improved hearing and tinnitus relief can have on their lives.
My day-to-day responsibilities involve working closely with our audiologist to ensure that your care goes smoothly. This includes preparing your records, managing follow-up steps, and bridging communication between you and the audiologist.
What I love most about my work is knowing that it helps people reconnect with the sounds and voices they love. That's what keeps me motivated every single day.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, and exploring new places through travel.
